What your JOHSC does for you

Did you know that there are more than 500 Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committees (JOHSC) in B.C. health authorities alone? Having safe workplaces and ensuring ongoing safety is a priority for everyone in healthcare, and JOHSC are at the heart of health and safety in every healthcare workplace across B.C.

These committees are made up of tireless and hardworking volunteers who dedicate their time to improve the working conditions of their colleagues. They advocate to ensure there is a well-functioning health and safety management system at their workplace. Whatever we can do to support that terrific work on the ground, helps the system and the people, like you, as a whole.
